The Green Climate Fund (GCF)
The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is a new global fund created to support the efforts of developing countries to respond to the challenge of climate change. GCF helps developing countries limit or reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and adapt to climate change.

1997 Ministrul Agriculturii, Dezvoltării Regionale și Mediului, Ion Perju, a participat la Conferința ONU privind schimbările climatice COP 25, ce s-a desfășurat în perioada 2-13 decembrie la Madrid, Spania. Evenimentul a fost organizat sub președinția Guvernului Chile cu suportul logistic al Guvernului Spaniei. Președintele conferinței fiind Carolina Schmidt, ministrul Mediului din Chile.

The reports are part of the work of UN Climate Change with experts and civil society groups.

Evenimentul public cu tematica "Noua viziune a Republicii Moldova privind guvernarea de mediu", a fost organizat de Ministerul Agriculturii, Dezvoltării Regionale și mediului cu suportul Oficiului Schimbarea Climei, în cadrul proiectului "Suport pentru Republica Moldova în stabilirea şi fortificarea Autorității Naționale Desemnate, elaborarea cadrului strategic şi dezvoltarea programului național de angajare cu Fondul Verde pentru Climă (FVC)".

07.11.2017 POLICY CONTEXT AND PURPOSE: The Climate Change Adaptation Strategy of the Republic of Moldova (2014) provides an integrated vision to react to the impacts of climate change. Moldova is currently establishing a NAP process and Sectoral Adaptation Planning processes (SAP), which are coordinated by the Climate Change Adaptation Coordination Mechanism (CCACM) and chaired by the National Commission on Climate Change (NCCC).
